Skilda tiders danser (dances of another time) - Boston Waltz 1909

This is the first part of the four part film by two women: Emma Meissner and Rosa Grünberg, who were well know opera singers in Sweden in 1909. The other parts of the film, which appear to be lost, had them in 18th & 19th Century costumes doing dances like the Gavotte. This one features a “Boston“, which is a term that has been used to refer to a wide variety of Waltz styles, but in this case looks like an old-fashioned, Victorian style rotary waltz.
