LightBank reached out to me to check out a few of their products, mainly their series of Inflatable Air Tube Lights. So, after a few conversations LightBank kindly sent over a couple of their products to start. I would like to thank LightBank for contacting me. The LightBank Team were great to talk to and willing to send their products to me to get my personal thoughts, allowing us to test them out for an honest review. I think it is going to come in handy, especially in Run & Gun Situations, where you need a light and something simple to quickly use. Who doesn’t need another light in their kit….? RIGHT…? Description: LightBank: FlyNoodle 1 - L14B(100W) - Self Inflatable Bi-Color LED Tube Light Interesting Name… The FlyNoodle 1 is a compact Bi-Color ultra-light weight self inflatable LED tube light that expands to 1 x 4 foot in diameter that is pretty easy to use right out the box and rolls up conveniently compact, making it ideal to have handy in your kit. There are defiantly some unique key features the FlyNoodle 1 has and a few things I wish they would have done with my initial first impressions. A great key feature is, it’s Self Inflating…! It has an internal fan motor on the end of the tube, giving you one less thing to worry about. The air tube fan motor is removable & replaceable. The FlyNoodle Kit comes with a patch kit, but if the awhole air tube has to be replaced for whatever reason, it can also be replaced without losing your entire light. The LED Light is actually a flex panel conveniently attached with velcro to the back of the air tube. It is a good feeling, knowing at least if something happens to the light, you will not have to replace or purchase an entirely whole new light, plus kit. Something I noticed that kinda stood out is the build of the Control Box for power and your lighting effects. It defiantly is light weight and feels like the quality might not hold well over time. I think this is where I would not mind paying a little more for something that was made more durable to be thrown in and out of our gear bag without breaking the Control Box or ruining its functions to control the light. I have a few different ideas for this thing. We are going to test it out figure out where we can throw it into the mix and start utilizing this light, creatively & on our projects.
