Monkeys (1965-1969)

Unissued / unused footage - dates and locations may be unclear / unknown. Monkeys - Kenya (?), Africa. Several shots of monkeys (beige fur and black faces) sitting in prickly bushes. They scamper around. Monkeys chewing. Some larger ones - could be baboons? - are seen in L/S, leaping from stone to stone across a river. Quite scary - some are the size of lions! Female ones (presumably) have smaller monkeys clinging to their bellies as they bound along. Some of the larger ones look like furry men (I can see what Darwin meant...). Smaller monkeys eat bits of someone’s picnic. Good shots of them eating. They turn over a basket and fish bits of food out of it. Monkey sitting on Land Rover windscreen. More of monkeys in trees. Cut to water rushing past unusual rocks - towards river or sea. Cut back to a large monkey or baboon walking in grassland. Brief shot of a warthog (? medium-sized pig-like creature with small tusks).
