Oak bookshelves with inlay

In this video I demonstrate the process of making an oak bookshelf for my son’s room. Children grow quickly and the number of their things is constantly increasing. Therefore, there was a need to create something additional for storing such things. For this project, I decided to use scraps of oak planks and other oak remnants that had traces of visible defects that skilled carpenters do not use. However, I don’t consider myself that way, so I decided to give these materials a second chance and to become useful for people. I filled all the cracks with epoxy resin and also used cross-sections of dry oak branches, recently gifted to me, as decor. I also decided to add a small drawer, children love to collect small things and this drawer will be a convenient place to store them at a certain stage in their lives. I sincerely hope that this piece of furniture will serve my children and decorate their home for a long time. It was a spontaneous project and a spontaneous performance. Now the situation
