Spreaders, Flangers, and Doublestacks on Donner Pass!

This is winter railroading on Donner Pass. While winter storms dump snow in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, Flangers and Jordan Spreaders work hard to keep trains moving. Not just flangers and spreaders are featured here, we also include doublestack and unit grain trains plus Amtrak’s California Zephyr rolling through winter’s white.
