Zbrush 2021: Introduction to Cloth Simulation + Puffy Jacket and Dress example

The Zbrush 2021 dynamics system offers great possibilities to create different types of cloth but there is some learning curve to it. With this video I hope to give you a good introduction, that shows you what every attribute does and at the end I show how you can apply it to the cloth simulation of a puffy jacket and red dress, covering some of the cloth brushes as well. I will also touch upon some other new features of Zbrush 2021 like the thickness attribute in the dynamic subdivision tab. The button insert brush I used(it’s free and also comes with stitch and seam brushes): Timestamps: 1:30 Dynamic SubD and thickness 2:15 Collision Volume and Recalc 3:00 Simulation iteration 4:03 Simulation Strength 4:18 Firmness 5:13 On masked 6:13 On brushed 6:50 self-collision 7:28 ClothHook brush 10:00 Floor collision 10:22 Allow Shrink 11:25 Allow Expand 12:00 Gravity strength 12:48 Set direction 14:10 Collision volume resolution
