Wren singing in early June

A wren calling to its mate in our garden. A good way to see wrens is when they have young as the young are a bit unruly and the parents have trouble persuading them to hide. You might be lucky and see up to six fledglings all perched on a branch with their parents calling out in the background. If they’re lucky enough to survive to adulthood however they won’t be so careless.
