Statue honoring 19th century Russian empress unveiled in Moscow Region

A statue honoring Maria Alexandrovna, the 19th-century Russian empress and first wife of Emperor Alexander II, along with her two children, has been unveiled in the Moscow region. The unveiling coincides with the 200th anniversary of the empress’s birth.
