The composer writes:
“This piece, written on the 3rd and 4th December 2020, is dedicated to the memory of Lina, beloved mother of my dear friend Marco Lo Muscio, Italian pianist, organist and composer. Lina has recently returned to the Father’s house, after having been looked after with infinite love by Marco.
Marco, in his long and prolific career, has given concerts in many European countries and the United States, and he has always had a predilection for organs of the English-speaking world. On occasion of numerous trips to the U.K., he has performed on wonderful organs of famous and imposing churches and cathedrals (including Westminster and St. Paul’s cathedrals in London, the cathedrals of Canterbury, Chester, Blackburn, Gloucester, Lincoln, Lichfield, Rochester, St. David&
