Sergey Komarov, Vlad Dobrovolsky and Ilya Sadovsky, the trio that makes up Kurvenschreiber, have been working in the tradition of sound art for the past ten years. Within 4 hours, the project participants created a sound environment that fits into the tradition of extended cinema. Microphones connected to shortwave radios, electrical transformers and various objects send sound waves through a Nagra tape recorder and Korg synthesizers to give them new shapes and impulses.
