INSANE DOGFIGHTS: Soviet LA-5 FN & Series 8 (IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles)

This video is a multiplayer PVP compilation of me, Stevebud, flying the LA-5 FN & Series 8 in the game (IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles). I took some time out of flying my usual Western Front aircraft (Spitfire, P51 Mustang) to do something I’ve always wanted to do... get really good at flying the legendary LA-5. So I jumped servers and spent a month or two flying it constantly to learn the strengths and weaknesses of both variants. This video is the result. I really fell in love with the aircraft both the FN and Series 8 and now they’re my favorite allied aircraft in the game. The roll rate and acceleration of the FN makes defensive flying absolutely insane and super fun to pull off successfully. Also the nose mounted cannons, although hard to get used to at first, are incredibly powerful and accurate. The Series 8 definitely struggles compared to the FN but with the right strategy can still absolutely dunk on Axis aircraft. This video was a labor of love and I really hope you enjoy it.
