🥳 The whole year for 5 minutes! We show how the year 2022 passed for ITMO’s Infochemistry Scientific Center. Watch, share and cry with happiness! There are a lot of changes! Fasten your seat belt and fly 🛫 1. We opened a partner center for atomic force microscopy with brand new and powerful devices 🔬 2. We began to master Kuka assistant robot. It already brings slippers and can fight with a lightsaber, but the main goal, of course, is to teach it to conduct chemical experiments 3. We opened and equipped a new shiny chemical laboratory of almost 300 square meters 😍 Come visit and for internship! 4. 2 new MASTER’s programs were invented and opened: 🎄 Robotization of chemical technologies (16 talented chemists-roboticists are already studying) 🎄 Chemistry Soft (we wait for the first students in 2023 – stay tuned, this is ONLINE master’s degree!) 5. The first real masters of INFOCHEMISTRY graduated 🎓 6. For the first time as well, we held the International Conference on Robotization of Chemical Technologies. Our colleagues from Singapore, Israel, the USA, Germany, Great Britain and Russia took part. A headliner was the most cited chemist of our time, George Whitesides. Some materials are here: 7. We invented our own professional holiday that is Infochemist’s Day on May 29th, as well as participated in ITMO Family Day city festival 8. We organized 3 hackathons: two with Agama and one with Uralchem Innovation 🤖 9. At the end of December, we presented all our scientific, technological and IT projects at the Infochemistry Christmas Conference. More than 60 speeches, wow! 10. We won various competitions, including Blue Sky Research and . We also continue developing the submitted projects 11. The director of the center defended her doctoral thesis 😉 N.
