‘Utterly rotten’: UK police escort ‘Billboard Chris’ away from pro-Palestine rally

Sky News host Rita Panahi has accused the UK police of being “utterly rotten” after blaming child protection activist ‘Billboard Chris’ for a disturbance at a pro-Palestine rally. A pro-Palestinian protester approached Chris at the rally in London and poked her flagstick in his face. A London Police officer then directed Chris to move away from the rally for his “own safety”. Ms Panahi noted this is not an isolated incident and claimed the UK police system is “broken”. “What’s even more disturbing is they have got to this state under more than ten years of Tory rule,” she said. “Imagine if Labour were in, which it looks they are going to be in any time, what the state of policing is going to look like in a decade.”
