Buba relied on surprise - the tankers suddenly rolled out from a point where they were not expected, fired back and retreated, then repeated the maneuver. The fighters did not limit themselves to destroying tanks - the light armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, sent to evacuate the wounded, suffered the fate of their predecessors. For this fight, Buba was presented with the Order of Courage. Another story is how Topaz distinguished himself. The soldier saved the tank of his comrades, which was hit and caught fire by a kamikaze drone; he drove up to his colleagues in his car, helped put out their “box” and took them away.
