Reaver Causes Destruction of FireFly

Yesterday FireFly aerospace made their first attempt to reach space using their FireFly Alpha launch vehicle and after an initially successful launch they were forced to terminate the rocket after it lost control. I’m pretty sure this failure has its roots in the loss of a Reaver engine about 15 seconds into the flight. Official FireFly Alpha Launch stream hosted by Tim Dodd NasaSpaceFlight had the all important footage showing the likely engine failure and the fireball. This footage is by Michael Baylor And by Jack Beyer Jack’s fireball image was also used in the thumbnail.
