Sanderlings and Dunlins Share a beach, Share a feast

The two species always seem inseparable in the winter months. Their beaks make for slightly different feeding styles: The Sanderling run and poke quickly, chasing and being chased by the ocean waves, while the Dunlins tend to explore more slowly away from the surf. Both enjoy a feast of storm washed Slipper shells.
