Disfrutando de la música electrónica desde su infancia, Balbo lleva más de una década siendo parte de los productores / Djs electrónicos de Santiago, Chile. Sus producciones y selección musical varían entre los géneros de minimal, house y techno. Se ha presentado en importantes locales de Chile como La Feria, Microclub, Bar Loreto, Teatro Caupolicán y Teatro C. Además en locales situados en Berlín (Alemania), como Club Maze, Barkett y Minimal Bar. En los últimos años ha publicado releases en sellos nacionales como internacionales; Agua y Sed (Chile), Panal Records (Chile), Modismo (Chile), Inwave (Italia), Main Main Music (Alemania), Piros (Chile), 99 Tapes Recordings (Argentina), y su propio sello Quadrante, el cual el 2022 publicó su primer álbum en conjunto con Akute. Cabe decir que cuenta con publicaciones tanto en formato digital como en vinilo. En paralelo, entre el año 2018 y 2020 presentó su programa docente y realizó clases de producción musical, diseño sonoro y mastering en la Academia Sound Creative de Chile, levantando una nueva camada de diversos productores de la escena local. Actualmente se encuentra trabajando en nuevas colaboraciones la cual pronto saldrán a luz. ___________________________________________________________________ Enjoying electronic music since his childhood, Balbo has been a part of the electronic producers/DJs scene in Santiago, Chile, for over a decade. His productions and musical selection span across the genres of minimal, house, and techno. He has performed at notable venues in Chile such as La Feria, Microclub, Bar Loreto, Teatro Caupolicán, and Teatro C. He has also played at venues in Berlin, Germany, including Club Maze, Barkett, and Minimal Bar. In recent years, he has released music on both national and international labels, including Agua y Sed (Chile), Panal Records (Chile), Modismo (Chile), Inwave (Italy), Main Main Music (Germany), Piros (Chile), 99 Tapes Recordings (Argentina), and his own label, Quadrante. In 2022, he released his first album in collaboration with Akute, available in both digital and vinyl formats. In parallel, between 2018 and 2020, he presented his educational program and taught music production, sound design, and mastering at the Sound Creative Academy in Chile, nurturing a new generation of diverse producers in the local scene.
