Nintendo Abandoned It, These Devs Reimagined It

In 2001, Nintendo published a game outside of the United States called Kuru Kuru Kururin on the GameBoy Advance. While Nintendo hasn’t made a new entry since 2004, more and more independent game developers are picking up where they left off and creating their own spin on the game starring a rotating stick/bird spaceship. MinnMax’s Ben Hanson talks to No Goblin co-founder Dan Teasdale about Roundabout, Spinny’s Journey’s Yoan Santelli, and the director of Vitamin Connection at WayForward Technologies James Montagna about their spiritual successors and why they love the original gameplay of Kuru Kuru Kururin.
