“Across 110th Street“ (1972) opening REMIXED

This is the Opening of 1972’s “Across 110th Street“ with RE-MIXED SOUNDTRACK: specifically instead of the original version of the song the film used, I’ve swapped out that track for the other more well known, more orchestrated recorded version, also with Bobby Womack on vocals, just to see hear how it would work. And man DOES it work -- albeit now minus some of those funky 70’s rough edges the original version had (congas) which did give it that great 70s ’blaxplotation vibe. Anyway I’ve got both versions up here on the Tube so you can compare them, the original here and this Remix one. See what you think! If you don’t agree Bobby Womack just kills this song, man something is wrong with you! Tarantino used this version of the great Bobby Womack’s song in his film, “Jackie Brown“.
