Full titles read: “Now ’Pathetone’ presents - Tex McLeod, the famous Spinner of Ropes & Yarns.“ London, probably Pathe Studio. Various shots of Tex McLeod in cowboy outfit of shirt, trousers and pony skin chaps, as he spins a rope / lasso. He starts by saying this is one of the greatest sports in Manchester - cotton spinning. He keeps up a steady stream of patter as he spins his lasso, talking about his trip over from America on a liner. Jumping in and out of his lasso he tells a few jokes - one is about two old maids who saw a plane fly overhead. One says to the other, “That’s a mail plane“.
