Chen Style Taichi/ Taiji • Chun Qiu Da Dao also named Green Dragon Crescent Blade, this is one of the long weapons of Chen’s Taichi tools. It is also one of the weapons most specialized in by Chen Wang Ting, the Grand Master of Chen-Style Taichi. As Grand Master Chen Wang Ting had long beard, his image waving the Chunqiu Dadao looked like Guan Yu, the famous general of the Three Kingdoms who was skilful in using the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. Thus, Grand Master Chen was regarded as ‘comparable to Guan Yu’. The form is reasonably designed covering all directions with striking, chopping, knocking, hanging, cutting, hacking, severing, blocking, poking, stabbing, pushing, pulling, and withstanding.
