Zelensky Seeks Direct Talks with Russia at Second Peace Summit | Firstpost America Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans for a second peace summit, this time including Russia. Last month, a summit in Switzerland garnered support from world leaders but excluded Russia and China. Responding to Zelensky’s invite Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia first needs to understand what Kyiv means before attending talks. Further speaking in Kyiv after a NATO summit in the U.S., Zelensky also outlined the need of new air defence systems.
