I found myself getting absolutely rocked with virtually no chance of survival during really close encounters which, I guess makes sense given the situation, but can make for some frustrating gameplay.
In something like a narrow hallway or tunnel, there was no way to get by and I often got trapped and killed quickly, so I decided to add this shove mechanic which DOES give you a better chance of survival.
It can actually be used strategically as part of your offense, but it’s main purpose is to allow you to be able to push enemies back to give yourself room to wriggle out of a sticky situation!
