A PS3 Story: The Yellow Light Of Death

This video condenses the last 4 years of my life into 90 minutes! It was a passion project and I hope that comes across. I tried my best to be objective, but there’s plenty of opinion and theory. I soft launched this video and corrected some of the inaccuracies viewers pointed out. Thank you, your feedback was helpful! I don’t claim to be 100% correct! And maybe someone watching knows something that we (the PS3 community) missed. Feel free to engage in the comments below or on the PSX Place forums. There are some dry, sciencey sections. I ramble on and repeat myself a few times. I’m not the best video editor, or story teller. I tried to keep the length down (believe me, this is the short version), but wanted to tell the whole story, as best I could at the time of this video’s release (I’m sure we know more now). Also, I apologize for the change in microphone audio quality. I got a proper mic half way through editing and wasn’t about to re-record everything! About Copyright: I have great respect for content creators and a deep desire to obey their copyright. It’s perfectly natural for them to profit from their hard work and not be knocked off by others. That’s scummy and I don’t want to be that person! Where copyright materials are used, I tried to transform, talk over, or take it out of context for the purpose of telling this story. I tried to credit everyone at the end of the video, in rough order of appearance. The purpose of this video is educational, critical commentary. As far as I understand it, that puts me in the best position to qualify for the “fair use“ exception defined by Section 107 of the Copyright Act in the United States. I made a good faith effort, at least. Licensed Music: 8bit Dungeon Boss - Video Classica by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.
