Daddy Maxfield - Rave And Rock Originally released PYE Record, ’73 Published by ATV Music (Sony/ATV). Today thanks to the good folks at BMG Rights Management, Berlin, the track is seeing a new life, rereleased on various compilations, played Worldwide, Public Radio, Club DJs, etc. The song has been remastered, this sounds closer to the single that was spinning in the clubs of West London, prior to PYE Records remastering the track (sans permission), three days prior to release! In any event, this was a great project to work on, we had the excellent guidance of the always great, Mickie Most (RAK Records). We accepted the deal with PYE, as RAK needed three weeks to complete the Suzi Quatro album (“Can The Can“ had gone to #1 overnight, leaving RAK without an album), Mickie had to complete that before he could take on another project (Mickie had already introduced the band to Chinn & Chapman), etc. Our buddy at Island Music, Lem Lubin sent us into Scorpio Sound to complete the re
