Russia’s Wagner ’takes control’ of East Bakhmut | Putin’s men shoot down Ukrainian bomber

Russia’s Wagner Group has reportedly taken control of the eastern part of Bakhmut. In a voice recording shared on Telegram, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of Wagner said, “Units of the private military company Wagner have taken control of the eastern part of Bakhmut. Everything east of the Bakhmutka river is completely under the control of Wagner.” Meanwhile, Russia launched 30 attacks in north-west of Bakhmut in the last 24 hours. A Russian combat aircraft also shot down a Ukrainian Air Force Su-24 bomber along the frontline.
