The Rutles / Boxer - No Reply (She’s Too Heavy) | MIMW Tunes

Ever wonder what a Rutles equivalent of “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)“ would sound like? Well, I think ’Fifth Rutle’ Ollie Halsall’s band Boxer might have already offered the answer - their song “No Reply“ (ironically, no relation to the Beatle tune of that name)! But, “No Reply“ needed some tweaks to make it more Rutle-esque - the prog-like instrumental section had to go, the coda had to be extended, the very end needed to be chopped off, and of course, that characteristic Moog hiss had to be added.
