Nyktalgia has released two albums (“Nyktalgia“ and “Peisithanatos“) so far. The genre of depressive suicidal black metal is an interesting one. Most of the bands in this genre come off as cheap, uninspired, and talentless, but there are many who buck these unfortunate trends and aspire to create beautiful pieces of music. Nyktalgia is one of those the framework that early Burzum created and making it sadder, darker, and more emotional, Nyktalgia took their place as the heavyweights of the DSBM genre with this album.
