Inspired by the characteristic elements that determine a LO-FI song, D.J. Highlanders proposes a variant with particular characteristics: the geographical ethnic reference through specific instrumental inserts, free time, and the possibility of presenting sung versions. Some of these elements are taboo for the LO-FI genre but for D.J. Highlanders are also inconceivable brakes on an author’s artistic expression. In an increasingly globalized world, which struggles every day against the oppressive regurgitation of those who want to restore the past, there is a need to open containers and not to enclose ideas in ever smaller and more impenetrable boxes! CHINA-FI is an experiment, an idea that will have a long following, the possible variants are very numerous, the artistic expression flies towards new infinite spaces, and D.J. Highlanders tries to express it to the best of its ability! Thus, after the first single, followed by CHINA-FI THE FATHER, as the second single... comes the EP which unequivocally certifies D.J. Alcuni di questi elementi sono tabù per il genere LO-FI ma per D.J. Highlanders sono anche freni inconcepibili per l’espressione artistica di un autore.
