SKI WOC 2011: Long Masstart Winners

The mass start Long distance of ski orienteering world championships 2011 in Sweden was a extremely demanding competition with a lot of climbing and long courses. The mes race turned out to be at battle between Staffan Tunis Finland and Andrey Grigoriev Russia were Andrey was the strongest in the finish and could secure the gold medal with a margin of two seconds. Vladimir Barchukov Russia took the bronze medal. In the womens class Helene Söderlund Sweden was the strongest, even though she made some mistakes she was able to ski away from the others on the second loop. Helene won with a margin of down to Tatyana Kozlova Russia. The Bronze medal was taken by Marte Reenas Norway.
