My friend Sergei sent it to me for restoration, спасибо большое сергей! The charcoal iron was abandoned and in a bad condition. It was super rusty, all parts had play and the handle wasn´t original. Time to do a restoration on this old rusty iron! I started by removing the non original parts. After disassembling i sandblasted all the rusty parts, steel wooled them, cold blued them and gave them an oil bath fur curing. I made a new wooden handle and some new hollow tip rivets and hollow tip shafts for reassembling. The final test shows - the iron works very well and is a pretty cool piece.
