American Odyssey (NOVA-C) landed on Moon within Intuitive Machines-1 mission

Groundbreaking research is showcased as Intuitive Machines-1 successfully lands on the moon, equipped with a RadioTelescope to measure radio waves on Feb 22, 2024. NASA’s scientists study these radio emissions to gain insights into Earth’s electromagnetic activity, including the magnetic field, ionosphere, and interactions within the atmosphere. Monitoring human-generated sources enables the assessment of anthropogenic influences on Earth’s electromagnetic field and overall environmental health. The RadioTelescope onboard offers a promising opportunity to capture data on radio waves from Earth and other planets in our solar system.
