Eddie Robbins was born Edward Rabinowitz in The Bronx section of New York City, New York. Although not a member of the original “Mello Kings“ when they recorded the classic, “Tonight, Tonight“, in 1957, he was, however, involved with a later group using the name sometime around 1962. He was also a member, at some point, of the vocal group, The Neons, who recorded “Angel Face“ in 1956.
