BTS: Straight Outta Compton “The Pool Shot“ Movi M15

One of the most complicated Movi shots I’ve been involved in. “The Pool Shot“ in Straight Outta Compton required 10 people to pull it off, changing hands 4 times and hooking onto 2 different rope/speed rail rigs. Not pictured is a double jointed speed rail jib positioned behind the DJ. The pool added an extra element of danger for the camera, a thin plastic bag protected the camera from water while not hindering the movement of the Movi (the camera almost took a swim during one of the takes) The speed rail
