Russian turncoats fighting for Ukraine storm across the border to attack their own military

Russian turncoats fighting for Ukraine have launched a surprise attack on their own country. The Freedom of Russia legion, which has allied itself to Kyiv’s military intelligence, stormed across the border from Ukraine into Russia overnight March 11 and attacked Russian forces in Belgorod and Kursk, two regions where large amounts of military gear is stationed. Night vision footage showed troops and tanks crossing into Russia in the early hours, before locals began reporting the sounds of gunfire as the sun came up. The attack also involved drones, with Russian air defence missiles fired to try and take them down, while video showed a drone striking a Russian armoured vehicle from above. There were reports that a Russian fighter jet had also been downed, though it was not clear whether that was due to the Freedom Legion or an incident of friendly fire. Ukraine is trying to bring the war home to Russia as a way of turning people against Putin’s mission to destroy their country - and have timed this attack to take place right before the presidential election which begins on March 15. #russia #ukraine #war Daily Mail Homepage: Daily Mail Facebook: Daily Mail IG: Daily Mail Snap: Daily Mail Twitter: Daily Mail Pinterest: Russian turncoats fighting for Ukraine storm across the border to attack their own military Get the free Daily Mail mobile app:
