Park Jiha — Live session VG Buiten Spelen [2018]

Park Jiha from South Korea uses traditional instruments and the complex expression of Korean traditional music in her contemporary music. She was part of the duo [su:m], but she decided to create a new band with vibraphone, percussion and saxophone. The location is the garden of the Nutsgebouw in The Hague at Rewire Festival 2018. In Buiten Spelen of music program Vrije Geluiden, musicians play live sessions in an uncommon setting: outside. Whether it’s in our own garden, on the roof or at the pond, Buiten Spelen gives musicians the freedom to experiment, try new material, play with guest musicians.... or just play some fine music!
