Cubas longest horizontal oil well completed

In March, Cuba finished construction of the longest horizontal oil well in the country. It has been described as a “technological feat,” for the Cuban oil sector and China as a result of a long-time joint partnership in the sector. Oil wells drilled with Chinese technology have contributed to local power plants and when the island’s fuel imports are at low levels. CGTN’s Luis Chirino reports.
