Making great looking and very realistic hedges doesn’t have to be difficult and in this tutorial I show you just how easy it is to add a beautiful garden hedge to any suburban scene.
This technique is fast and very easy to replicate, it will add life and interest to you model railroad but it’s not limited to train layouts. This will look fantastic on any diorama or war gaming terrain as well as architectural models and display pieces.
The products I used are widely available from many good hobby shops and hardware stores or garden supply centers.
Javis Scenics Scatter was purchased from eHattons in England
MP Scenery Products was purchased from Somerset Models in Australia
Coconut Fiber Basket Liner was purchased from Bunnings in Australia
Spray adhesive used was ‘Selleys Kwik Grip’ also available from Bunnings and it’s my preferred glue due to its transparency and tackiness.
