However, Crawford, known for his adaptability, turned the fight around with his aggressive switch-hitting style. By the seventh round, Crawford dropped Kavaliauskas for the first time. In the ninth round, he dropped him again and then finished the fight with a third knockdown, securing a TKO victory.
