LarcieZen | The Sadness Of Floralia

The collection was inspired by Floralia - the most colourful ancient Roman festival. It was held in spring as an ode to Flora. An idea of killing flowers for the celebration, which was about the birth of nature, seems sadly beautiful. Here comes the reference to the time transience, rebirth and the inevitability of fate. The collection is also an epitome of the beauty fragileness. Valeria Odnodvortseva is using exquisite craftmenship, including handpainting on fabric, macrame and felting. She is one of the first Russian designers, who has stepped into the world of 3D printing and brought it into fashion. All prints were created exclusively for the collection.
