Sole Republican in County Gets Arrested, Wins Federal Suit for Political Persecution | Shorts

🔵 Watch the full episode 👉 In July 2022, a video went viral on social media, showing the sole Republican commissioner in Trumbull County, Ohio, being arrested during a commissioners meeting. The deputies told Niki Frenchko that she was disrupting the meeting. They removed her from the room and placed her in handcuffs. Eventually, the charge against her was dismissed, but to Ms. Frenchko, this was not enough. Instead, in March of last year, she filed a federal lawsuit, arguing that her constitutional rights were violated. And after almost a year of legal back and forth, the judge in the case ruled in Ms. Frenchko’s favor, arguing that her constitutional rights were violated when her Democrat colleagues had her arrested during the public meeting. In his 81-page decision, the judge wrote:“Here in America, we do not arrest our political opponents … This case tests that longstanding norm as well as our Constitution’s robust protections for free speech that allow us to criticize our representatives and public officials.” But the story actually gets a lot wilder, because this arrest wasn’t an isolated incident. Instead, Ms. Frenchko claims that this was just the latest in a long line of harassment that she’s endured at the hands of the other commissioners. And as for the specific ways that the other commissioners have been harassing her, it’s something that you really just need to hear in order to believe. - Epoch Original Documentary DVDs: 🔵 Check out ’The Real Story of January 6’ documentary DVD here: 🔵 ’The Shadow State’ documentary takes a deep dive into the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) industry.
