Building A Carved Top Set Neck Guitar - The “Fifty Nine“

Follow me on Facebook - Buy my guitar templates here - This is my nod to the Gibson Les Paul - Built in the same style of the late 1950’s Les Paul’s specifically. The long tenon, hide glues and fish glue, the binding nibs, the holly veneer headstock plate, the Cherry pore filler and Aniline Dyes and Nitrocellulose lacquer finish. I’ve deviated a bit and used Stainless steel frets and a scarf joint in the neck for added strength. I also moved the toggle switch down and went with a master tone. I hope you enjoy.
