Cherubin Our Sunrise 1974 Germany, Progressive, Country, Funk Rock
Cherubin - Our Sunrise 1974 (Germany, Progressive, Country, Funk Rock)
German group from Munich. In the 70s she recorded 2 singles and 2 albums: “Our Sunrise” in 1974 and “Safety Match” in 1975. The music is a slightly odd combination of progressive-jazz-style songs reminiscent of “Karthago” with their heavy drums and country rock. After the release of the second album, the group broke up. Obviously, these guys were first-class musicians, as evidenced by the names of the stars that some of them played after the breakup of Cherubin, these are John Fogerty, Robert Palmer, Simon Phillips, Larry Coryell, Alphonso Mouson, Klaus Doldinger, Oakridge Boys, Boxcar Willie ... In 2004, the musicians gathered again and released their third album, “Break Free”, which was released on the label “KDC Records”.
