ACE TRAIN CABCAR 3308 RARE FULL BLAST K5LA HORN - In Your Face Approach!

[Watch In High Definition] On a recent trip to the Bay Area in California to get some tattoos finished, I made it a note to pull off and catch Altamont Corridor Express Train #6 leaving Pleasanton, California right on the advertised with ACEX 3308 leading the way. You’ll notice something that’s very uncommon - the “Emergency“ lever being used in the mix along with the normal lever. When the horn lever on these cabs are pushed down they play the “normal“ volume intended for crossings and station departure. As the train gets closer you’ll notice the Engineer use the “Emergency Volume“ lever (pushed up) for the camera which is ear-shattering loud! This Engineer is a close friend of mine, whom used to actually be my boss at another railroad. We both now work for different railroads (Her ACE and myself a Class 3 in Denver) ... this WAS planned. Not very common to hear these cabcars at full volume, so enjoy the show! Thanks For Watching! ©510trackside 2022
