The other day I received thousands of these aluminium wine caps. I’ve never thought of melting these before as I’m not a wine drinker but luckily a lot of people out there are. My mate saved thousands of these caps for me and today I’ll see how they meltdown. Some crazy colors in today’s melt But they look awesome . I will just melt down small portions of them today and save the rest for another time. A single sided mirror shine on the bar today which came out great and another step closer to the target. I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder .
