Ace Frehley (MYKÄL)- "Wouldn’t You Like To Know Me" Paul Stanley
You guys asked and here it is: the clean and un-’tape hissed’ version of “Ace Frehley’s“ version of the Paul Stanley classic “Wouldn’t You Like To Know Me“.
I never thought that people would want to hear this version of it, but you guys asked so here it is.
I’m flattered you wanted to hear what the song sounds like without all the tape hiss and trickery to make it sound like it was a vintage and ’unearthed’ tape.
You can check out the backstory and the ’vintage’ version on YouTube here:
All instruments and vocals were recorded by me in two days at Six Fingers Studios in Fort Myers Florida using the new Universal Audio Volt 276 interface.
The 76 compressor and ’Vintage’ button was pressed for every instrument recorded.
I used a Shure SM57 for all vocals and a Les Paul special for the guitars.
The bass is a Fender P-Bass.
The drums I’ll keep a secret for now
