Bass Note Reharmonization (A Bassist’s Secret Weapon) [ AN’s Bass Lessons #3 ]

Take charge of the harmony and direction of the music with bass note reharmonization! A sure fire way to impress people with your mad bass skills and also piss off a controlling keyboard player or two. The bass I was using in this video was a Samick Corsair short scale bass (25“) strung with long scale strings originally tuned BEAD (from a 5 string) to EADG standard. The string tension is comparable to a normal 4-string bass, but with a much smaller scale length.
