The Battle of Wartheim ’The Perennial Problem’ The Hoffberg Campaign part 1 Warmaster

In the south of the Empire beside the Upper Reik River sits the prosperous town of Hoffberg. Hoffberg is said to be the most besieged town in the empire, east of the great forest, for every spring goblins from the Black Mountains descend on Hoffberg in search of food and plunder. Will the fine townspeople of Hoffberg fend off this latest goblin attack or will their town finally fall? And more importantly perhaps, will the Mayor of Hoffberg get re-elected? The miniatures used are mostly from GamesWorkshop’s amazing 10mm Warmaster range (now OOP). There are also some Pendraken humans. The ’giants’ are mostly old Citadel 25mm trolls, while the actual trolls are 15mm scale trolls from Magister Militum. The houses are scratch built. The trees come from various manufacturers or were home made. The castle gateway, wall and towers are from Magister Militum.
