Journey to the Center of the World - Felicity, California

Felicity, CA was founded in 1986 by Jacques-Andre Istel and is home to the “official“ Center of the World and Museum of History in Granite. The site became the center of the world after Mr. Istel wrote a children’s book, then Imperial County and later France recognized the location as the official center of the world. The most impressive thing there however is the Museum of History in Granite. The Museum of History in Granite has 18 granite monuments with detailed history of things such as California, the United States, the world, art, the oceans, the French Foreign Legion, and sections are still being site also includes a Maze of Honor, the church on the hill, and even original stairs from the Eiffel Tower.
