Never Know (Renheng) — Honkai Star Rail AMV (HBD Sae!)

This is a birthday gift for one of my closest friends, ‎@sunnysev ! Happy birthday to you, doofus :3. This is kind of a sequel to my previous Renheng AMV, Doomed. In Doomed, I imagine the song to be from Blade’s perspective regarding the price both must pay through death. Now for Never Know, it’s about Dan Heng having an identity struggle, which includes in my imagination, elements like the sense of longing he feels when polishing the spear made by Blade (it’s an actual dialogue by Pom-Pom that’s been added in 1.4, by the way). Identity crisis AND simping crisis, wow. This isn’t to imply I think Dan Feng and Dan Heng are completely one and the same, so please don’t put words in my mouth. I have the right to daydream about two men kissing each other.
